We are a cultural entertainment and education company based out of Waiʻanae and Kapolei, Hawaiʻi. We’re home of Hālau Nā Mamo O Tulipa – Hawaiʻi, Japan, Virginia, and California; Pearls of the Pacific; and ʻEaʻEa Designs.
We provide the following Hawaiian and Polynesian Cultural services:

• Hula Classes both Ancient and Modern
• Polynesian Dance classes which include but not limited to Tahitian, Samoan, and Maori
• Hawaiian Cultural Tours
• Hula or Polynesian Dance Workshops
• Hawaiian Language Classes or Workshops
• Arts & Crafts Workshops.

Hālau Nā Mamo O Tulipa and the Pearls of the Pacific provide entertainment for private parties, community events, and show productions here in the islands and abroad. We have put on shows in Hawaiʻi, Japan, and Virginia with some of these shows being sold out months in advance. We also participate in hula and Tahitian competitions. Last year we participated in the Iā ʻOe E Ka Lā Hula Festival and Competition in Pleasanton, California where we took home 3rd Place Gracious Ladies, 3rd Place Kupuna, and 3rd Place Musicians, and also the World Invitational Hula Festival at the Waikīkī Shell where we took home 1st Place in the Hawaiian Language for our Kahiko performance, as well as 1st Place for our Hula Kahiko.

This year we participated in a variety of competitions. The first being in Florida at Ho`ike Hawai`i’s 14th Hula Competition. Michaela Pualalea Phillips placed 2nd in Solo Kahiko, `Auana, and Oli. The Wahine placed 3rd in Kahiko. The second was in Kona where our Kupuna represented us very well. The last was at the 20th World Invitational HUla Festival where our Japan Soloist won the Hawaiian Language award and our Hawai`i, Combination Team placed 1st in Kahiko and `Auana.

ʻEaʻEa Designs is a Hawaiian shop which makes and sells their handmade, one of a kind, unique flowers, hairclips, glasses, slippers, notebooks, embroidered towels, earrings, and many other wonderful items. They have booths at many wonderful craft fairs including the big ones in Hilo during Merrie Monarch time. They also sell their items in Japan, Virginia, Las Vegas, and other places as well.
