HULA AND POLYNESIAN DANCE IS ALIVE IN TAFT, CALIFORNIA

Under the direction of Alaka`i Tulipa Takako Savini-Maino, along with Kumu Leato S. Savini, Hālau Nā Mamo O Tulipa-Kaleponi will strive to enhance, encourage, and maintain excellence in Hula, focusing on basic hula steps, language, chant and dance. In the near future, they will also open Polynesian Dance classes to incorporate Tahitian and Samoan dance as well.
